Terms of Sale
Last updated: 26 May 2026
These terms apply to purchases of Quadrant modular shelving and related services (installation, delivery, design help) from Compact Living AS via quadrantreoler.no. Consumer purchases are governed by Norwegian law (Forbrukerkjøpsloven, Angrerettloven, etc.).

Compact Living AS
Org. no.: 921 887 922

2. Ordering and contract formation
You add desired products to the cart and submit the order form with name, contact details and delivery address. The order is a request for a quote, not a finalized contract.
We review your order and send an invoice/confirmation by email with the final price, delivery time and payment due date. The contract becomes binding only when you accept the invoice (by payment or written confirmation).
3. Prices
All prices are in Norwegian kroner (NOK) including 25% VAT. Prices shown on the site are starting prices per module; the final price depends on configuration, color, quantity and any installation, and is stated in the invoice.
Shipping and installation costs are listed in the invoice before payment. We reserve the right to adjust prices in case of manufacturer price changes or obvious errors on the site.
4. Payment
Payment is by invoice via email after we have reviewed your order. The standard payment term is 14 days from the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
No payment is made directly on the website. Late payment incurs interest in accordance with the Norwegian Late Payment Interest Act.
5. Delivery
Normal delivery time is 4–6 weeks from confirmed order. Exact delivery time is stated in the invoice. We deliver and install primarily in the Oslo area; contact us for other regions.
Risk for the goods passes to the buyer upon delivery. In the event of material delay not caused by the buyer, the buyer may cancel the purchase in accordance with the Norwegian Consumer Purchases Act §§ 19–20.
6. Right of withdrawal
As a consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive the goods, pursuant to the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act. To exercise this right, notify us at marius@compactliving.com before the deadline expires. You may use the standardized withdrawal form from the Norwegian Consumer Authority.
Goods must be returned in essentially the same condition as received. You cover the return shipping cost unless otherwise agreed. We refund the purchase price within 14 days of receiving the goods and confirming they are in expected condition.
Exceptions: Custom solutions (e.g. special colors, custom dimensions or customer-specific adaptations outside ByAulum's standard range) are exempt from the right of withdrawal, pursuant to the Right of Withdrawal Act § 22 (c). This is specifically noted in the invoice before a binding agreement is entered into.
7. Complaints
Norwegian consumer law provides a 5-year complaint period for goods intended to last substantially longer than 2 years. Quadrant modules are quality goods intended for long use and are therefore covered by the 5-year period.
If the goods have a defect, you must notify us within a reasonable time after you discovered or should have discovered the defect. Send a description and photos to marius@compactliving.com.
8. Dispute resolution
We handle complaints and inquiries on an ongoing basis. If you are not satisfied with our handling, you may file a complaint with the Norwegian Consumer Authority or bring the case before the Norwegian Consumer Disputes Commission.
EU citizens may also use the EU Commission's online dispute resolution platform (ODR).
9. Privacy
We process personal data in accordance with our privacy policy. Inquiries from the website are processed via the AIhjelp1 platform (operated by Cevro Studio / McL Service) to ensure fast and traceable follow-up.
10. Changes
We may update these terms as needed, e.g. due to legal changes or updated delivery conditions. Changes apply from publication on this page. Orders that have already been confirmed are governed by the terms in force at the time of order.
